Give Me a Break: Bloomfield Lodge Give Me a Break: Bloomfield Lodge Twenty-four-year-old Constable Sarah Abela is a serving officer at Macquarie Fields Police Station. She was nominated by her boss, Pat Paroz, the local area commander. The busy station has 167 sworn police officers and 14 administrative staff serving and protecting the community. Pat said that in policing terms — just shy of three years — Sarah is quite junior, but in terms of ability and commitment, she is a leader and well deserving of a Getaway Give Me a Break.
