When Kelly went to Mexico, she and the crew relaxed at the end of a hard day's filming with a watermelon margarita at Cancun Palace. They are all still raving about the taste, and while not officially a food, their margarita did contain lime and watermelon so scraped into Getaway
's Food Special.
Moisten rim of margarita glass and dip in sugar.Blend seeded watermelon until you have 500ml. Add 200ml of Tequila and 100ml of Triple Sec. Add sugar if not sweet enough for your liking. Whiz it all together, pop in some ice and serve with a lime wedge.
Wet rim of glass with lime and dip in salt. Fill cocktail shaker 2/3 full of ice, add 45ml Tequila, 30ml Cointreau and 45ml fresh lime juice. Shake like crazy and strain into glass.
