Natalie has found on her visits to New Zealand that you can look in almost any direction and see a postcard.
She drove an hour from Rotorua to Taupo, right in the centre of the north island, to see the stunning freshwater lake she'd heard so much about.
Great Lake Taupo lies in a caldera created by a super volcanic eruption around 26,500 years ago. It has a split personality. On one hand it's all about adventure and excitement, and on the other it's beautifully tranquil.
