Mr Tinkles from Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

Mr Tinkles from Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore is voiced by Sean Hayes, the ever-popular Jack from television's Will and Grace. He gets catty when Getaway delves into his shady travel history.

What's your favourite vacation spot and why?
Well, as you can see I'm sort of on vacation right now. This is my private island I'm expecting cruise ships so bring the tourists. Oh, the whole world is my oyster you know I've been to St Moritz, I've been to Encino, I've been to the polar ice cap — damn cold there.

What's you number-one travel tip?
Always bring toothpaste. No, that's not it. Pack light. No, that's stupid. Um, have somebody else pay for it. That's it [laughs]. I'm so Hollywood.

Do you travel first class or are you in a cage in the back?
Oh please, only first class. First seat, baby. I get the best service. How do you travel?

Oh, it depends who's paying.
There you go. You see, oh, we're the like mind aren't we? Mmm.

Is there a place you've never been that you've always wanted to go?
I haven't been to Thailand. I do love the food. You know the spices are just so … explode in your mouth, you know? I would just like to. They have this dish called mice tartare. It's done with some wheat grass. Oh, it's very nice. Have you had it?

No, I missed that one.
Oh, too bad. We should go out for some.

I thought they ate cats in Thailand, though.
Maybe I'll skip Thailand. Good point.

Have you ever been to Australia?
Oh, Down Under. Yes, once. I've been to Melbourne; is it Melbourne? That's right. Yes, beautiful city, beautiful. I biked around and made some friends. Great night life, you know?

I didn't know that.
Well, don't you go out at night?

Well I haven't seen any other cats like you where I've been in Melbourne.
Really? Hmm, we've gotta party together, girl.

So what was the best thing about making Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore?
Oh, it's been so long and it's been so great. I have so many things going on in my personal life — getting back in front of the [camera] was glorious. Did you enjoy my scenes, by the way?

Did you talk to Anthony Hopkins to get any kind of direction?
Ah, yes, Tony … [My performance is] a homage to Tony. He's one of the greatest, you know. We hang a lot, you know? He likes mice tartare.

Are you planning on doing another movie? Are you going to team up with the other villain in this one?
From your mouth to Warners' gods' ears …I'm just biding my time until Cats & Dogs 3. Oh yes. You can come if you like. I have a part for you.

What's happening with your character in this film?
Well, at the close of the last movie I was stupidly caught by the humans so they incarcerated me in the big island and as the camera pans closer and closer you see me in all my glory. Well, I won't say much more because it's a bit of a surprise, roll [the clip], baby.

What's your relationship with Kitty Galore? Oh, we go way back. She's a firecracker. We used to date in high school. That didn't work out. I got her a corsage and she was allergic and then, oh, hair fell out and yada yada yada. She's in my movie. I don't know what happened.

When you travel is there one thing you never leave home without?
One thing I never leave home without? A fanny pack full of sushi. Don't you?

You take that on the plane?
Sure. You know, in three-ounce increments. Oh, that's very difficult to get into the bottles. Liquefying sushi is b*****.You can't say that, can you?

Where is the best meal you've ever had?
Um, Vancouver, yes, Umberto's. I had the reindeer. It was glorious. I 'm serious.
