What's your favourite vacation spot and why?
My favourite vacation spot is getting to be home in my house for a week or two without any responsibilities, in the middle of the summer. I have a nice little pool in a nice little house that I've made very much my own and I live there alone with my dogs and it's just a nice place to be. I live in a cute little town in East LA.
What is your number one travel tip?
Unpack as soon as you get into your hotel room. No matter what else you have to do, if you just take that extra 10 minutes to unpack, when you come back to your room later you won't feel so crazy and you won't feel so much like you're in a strange place.
What do you never leave home without when you travel?
My makeup, I guess, and a good pair of PJ pants.
Have you been to Australia?
Yes I have.
What was your favourite travel experience there?
I loved Sydney; I thought it was an amazing city. It's so different to most of the other cities I've ever been to. I mean, you're in the middle of the city and then 10 minutes later you're at this gorgeous beach and then another 10 minutes and you're at this beautiful harbour. It was just really beautiful.
Is there a place you've never been but always wanted to go?
Yes, I want to go to Bora Bora or some place like that; somewhere tropical and exotic.
So what was the best thing about making this movie for you?
We had so much fun… In a lot of ways we had silly fun because we were all in these ridiculous costumes and walking onto a set that was green screen the whole way. And you just sort of look at each other ... it's a big ensemble cast ... and look at each other and point and laugh at what the other person was wearing and say 'alright, what are we doing? What set are we supposed to be on?' And the brothers had such a good sense of humour and were such cool guys. We just had fun for three months; it was like being a kid.
What was the coolest thing about it for you?
I think all the things I got to do that I'd never gotten to do before. Stunt work and choreographed fighting and pretending to fly a helicopter and all the fake driving that stuff was really fun. I'd never gotten to do it before and I just kind of lost myself in having such a good time doing that.
Have you been to a grand prix?
No, no I haven't. And I missed the grand marshals or grand masters yesterday. Matthew [Fox] and Emile [Hirsch] [were at] the start of this grand prix and I missed it completely. So no, I've never seen any car races.
Where is the strangest place you've ever seen yourself on a poster?
I was in Paris once and a photographer … was having a big show there… The poster for it was called Guess Who and it was my face as a 12-year-old in Cat Woman mask growling. And nobody knew it was me because I was wearing a cat woman mask and I was like, 'that's me' and I'm all over Paris and can I get some of those!
