This week, star of Wedding Crashers, Isla Fisher, answers the Getaway questionnaire.
Q: What's your favourite place to holiday and why?
A: I would probably have to say Jamaica. I love Runaway Bay there. It's beautiful because you can feed the hummingbirds with tiny little bottles and they come in from the sky. It's incredible.
Q: What's your number one travel tip?
A: Sunblock. I think that wherever you are you just need to take it with you. And always keep money separate from … keep your passport at the hotel but I always think it's also good to have a really daggy '80s money bag too to take with you.
Q: When you're packing, what's an item you never leave home without?
A: I always travel with a book.
Q: What are you reading right now?
A: I'm reading Alain de Botton's
Status Anxiety actually.
Q: What's it about?
A: It's just about how we all feel pressure to conform to society's stereotypes and how we are all under anxiety that's unnecessary.
Q: Ultimate travel experience?
A: I would love to go to India. Yeah. Because I haven't been yet and heard it is incredible. The fabrics, the smells, the sights. Beautiful.
Q: Favourite travel experience in Australia?
A: I think probably going across the Nullarbor with my parents when I was about nine in their Kombi van. And we just drove across. It was beautiful.
Q: So what are three things that you would not want to live without if you were stranded on an island?
A: Sasha, my fiancé, sunblock and maybe a razor because my legs could get very hairy.
Q: What's the best meal you have ever had and where was it?
A: I did a cooking course recently in Italy and we found this incredible little restaurant near our hotel in Florence. We ate there and it was beautiful, incredible food.
