This week, star of Batman Begins, Liam Neeson, answers the Getaway questionnaire.
Q: What's your favourite place to holiday and why?
A: Well, Ireland is still the favourite. I've taken up fly-fishing in the past 10-12 years so I like to go to places that have fairly interesting rivers. Um, New Zealand outstanding, Canada, parts of America and Patagonia. I was there a couple of years ago fly-fishing.
Q: What's your number one travel tip?
A: Travel lightly.
Q: When you're packing, what's an item you never leave home without?
A: One's passport, stuff like that. A little first-aid box is important. Antibiotic cream, stuff like that especially when you have children, you're inevitably going to need it.
Q: Ultimate travel experience?
A: I wish I had a ready answer for that one. I certainly don't want to visit the moon or Mars or any of that stuff. Very much earthbound. I guess what I was saying just fish rivers. There's a batch of places in Russia I'd like to go to for steelhead and salmon. That would be quite ultimate I think.
Q: Favourite travel experience in Australia?
A: I loved being in Sydney. I loved Melbourne. I had some exquisite meals in both cities. I'd love to go back.
Q: Tell us something about your character in
Batman Begins.
A: There was a character called Razzlegool introduced into the comics in 1967-68 who was a very interesting man. Citizen of many cultures and quite mysterious. A bit of a guru for Bruce Wayne, so he partly exists in some of the comics but a lot of this was Christopher Nolan's invention, and re-invention, too.
