Cruising the Rhine and Moselle Rivers

Livinia Nixon and her fellow travellers were feeling no pain on board Scenic Tours Scenic Crystal as they glided their way along the majestic Rhine and Moselle Rivers from The Netherlands to Switzerland and places in between.
There's something enchanting about floating down a river particularly as you are surrounded by beautiful cities in some of Europe's most magnificent countries.
After five days and seeing some of The Netherlands and Belgium, Germany was next on the agenda with a stop in Cologne. The city lies on both sides of the Rhine and is a major cultural centre of the Rhineland, with a vibrant arts scene. It has over thirty museums and hundreds of galleries.
Livinia was desperately brushing up on her schoolgirl German so she could get the most out of her visit to a city famous for beer, perfume, a towering cathedral and one of Europe's oldest and largest universities.
