Adventure World at Bibra Lake is Perth’s premier fun and amusement park, and caters to all ages. It is open every day, except Christmas day, and has more than 30 rides and attractions. It sits on 14 hectares of beautiful gardens, and there are picnic areas and restaurants for visitors to enjoy a break from having so much fun.
For a bird’s eye view of the park, there is a sky lift winding its way high above, or there is a sky rail, but you have to do the peddling in that one!
Rides include bumper boats, a grand prix raceway, rapids ride and enormous pool with an array of water slides.
Adventure World’s Fear Factor 5 offers a challenge to those brave enough to have a go. It will turn your stomach inside out and your knuckles white.
The rides include Bounty’s Revenge where you are suspended in a pirates’ ship which swings 75°.
Power Surge, the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere, is a floorless gondola that surprises its passengers with randomly occurring G-forces.
The Rampage, a $1.8 million machine, suspends people upside down and twists and turns definitely not for those with a sensitive stomach.
The Tunnel of Terror is a waterslide which takes you through total darkness and the last is Turbo Mountain, a very scary roller coaster.
For something more gentle, there is a playground at Secret Cove, and in Kiddies’ Corner the little ones can splash down the dragon water slides. They can ride around the castle on the Whistle Stop Train and drop into the crazy mirrors which reflect images in weird and funny shapes.
There is also a Wildlife Park with koalas and friendly kangaroos.
