Funfields Fun Park is a terrific place to take the family, guaranteed to provide a great day for people of all ages.
They have Victoria's only stainless steel track toboggan slide. You are taken 400 metres up a mountain to a great view of the Kinglake Ranges. Then you are in full control to wind your way down the 800 metre track, negotiating curves, jumps and straights.
Or you can race your friends around the 420 metre Thunderdome go-kart track. There are single and double cars, reminiscent of 1950s and 60s sports cars.
The little ones needn't miss out on the fun there are also battery operated mini go-karts, but there are height/age restrictions for these.
Everyone will enjoy a ride in the brightly coloured Jungle Express Train.
Challenge your golf skills in the Crocodile Creek 18 hole mini golf circuit. It meanders around streams and ponds, has a seven-metre waterfall and a cave, and will test the most fanatical golfer.
The park's newest attraction is Blaster Boats. Make waves as you crash and splash through the lagoon at Funfields Beach. The electric boats also have squirting guns, just to make it a bit more interesting.
When you have worked up a sweat, there are two waterslides to cool off in. They follow the contour of the hill winding down to a very big splash. The walk back to the top is an easy one.
Funfields has seven large barbecue shelters with tables and seating. There are also twenty-four stainless steel barbecues. The kiosk stocks all the goodies necessary pies, hot dogs, ice creams and soft drinks.
