Daylesford romantic weekend

It's around this time of year thoughts start wandering to weekends away. Natalie fancied going somewhere cosy and where better than Daylesford in Victoria's spa country? It's around one-and-a-half hours north-west of Melbourne and well worth the drive.
Daylesford was founded on gold diggings in the late 1800s when a mixed heritage settled in the area. The architecture of Swiss-Italian settlers can still be seen.
Seventy-two springs flow continually, making the area popular for relaxing mineral spas to get you in the mood for enjoying local cuisine, visiting cellar doors and enjoying interesting history.
