Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge is surrounded by the World-Heritage-listed Main Range National Park and offers luxury accommodation and fine food and wine. Just the place for a romantic or indulgent weekend, it sits on top of a mountain with magnificent views.
Built in the style of a mountain lodge, it has high ceilings, rich timber fittings, open fireplaces, lounges, dining areas and a library.
The Lodge has just 10 suites, eight of which have bluestone fireplaces. Furnishings are in muted tones and artworks have been carefully chosen, blending beautifully with photographs of the local area. Suites have king or twin single beds, comfortable lounges and ensuites (some with spa) and it is obvious the local environment of surrounding high country has been cleverly considered. Warm charcoals, chocolates, caramel and ecru support the stone, timber, tin and glass which have been used in the construction.
Spa suites are spacious and all your needs have been anticipated. Large bathrooms have a spa bath and luxury amenities. The suites have a stone fireplace and outstanding views.
By day, visitors can take advantage of the marvellous countryside by bushwalking, taking 4WD tours or riding mountain bikes. Maybe a massage before a dip in the pool or an energetic game of tennis?
At night, clear mountain skies are packed with brilliant stars and the clean air is perfect for building an appetite.
The guest lounge has enormous glass walls which take advantage of views over Cunningham's Gap. It has a fireplace and bar, mezzanine entertainment area with billiard table, infinity-edge pool, spa and helipad.
Peppers has built its reputation on serving outstanding cuisine and Spicers Peak is following that tradition. An open kitchen reveals all the action while your senses are stimulated. It's all there great food and wine, architecture, décor, gentle music and aromas, all on a private and exclusive scale. It serves three meals every day and a seven-course degustation lunch on Sundays. The Lodge's chef will pack a picnic hamper for you to enjoy on a day's outing.
