The World Heritage-listed Cape Tribulation tropical rainforest is the oldest in the world. It has a significant regional ecosystem and, according to scientists, holds the key to the origins of primitive flowering plants.

Six styles of accommodation are available for this back-to-nature experience, most with air conditioning and ensuite, all with ceiling fans.
St Crispin Cabins are 20 metres from the beach and suitable for couples. They have queen bed and rainforest verandah. Ribbon Cabins are 40 metres from the beach, have queen and single beds and a shared rainforest verandah.
Escape Cabins are great for families, with a double and three single beds. They share a verandah. Mackay and Endeavour Cabins are dormitories and Budget Doubles are older style cabins with three bedrooms and share bathroom.
