We've found a five-star caravan resort that is a little village, with immaculate grounds, in the heart of Cairns.
The resort can accommodate 750 people and there is a variety of levels to choose from. There are powered and unpowered sites, powered with bathroom, coach camping, standard cabins for up to seven people, ensuite cabins for up to five, holiday units sleeping up to six, villas for up to seven and deluxe with spa accommodating up to five.
Other facilities to add to your holiday pleasure are a 30m pool, children's wading pool, nine-hole mini-golf course, two tennis courts, basketball area, volleyball and badminton courts, bocce and a recreation room with pool table, table tennis, hockey, video and television. There is an adventure playground with a bike mania track and you can do aqua aerobics in the pool.
The resort has an outdoor cafe and there are barbecue areas scattered throughout the park.
Not that there is any need to, but if you want to venture a little further afield there is a tour desk where you can be helped with tours to Kuranda, the Daintree, the reef or anywhere you want to go.
