New Zealand's Naked Bus experience

If you're planning a holiday in New Zealand, Jason Dundas has found a really cheap way to get around.
Naked Bus began in 2006 to provide low-cost travel between the country's cities and towns. They've expanded from four routes to a national network with the best possible bargain prices on every service. To keep it simple, all fares have the same validity and are open to all passengers.
They travel around both the North Island and South Island, taking a ferry across Cook Strait.
