Charli Delaney was a performer with the extremely popular children's musical group Hi-5 for 10 years. Her bubbly personality, singing and dancing skills endeared her to thousands and thousands of littlies and, no doubt, they have all missed her since she moved on from Hi-5.
Charli is pursuing a new career and is studying at NIDA, hoping it will lead to challenging acting roles.
She recently took a break with Getaway and took us to her favourite place Thredbo, in the New South Wales Snowy Mountains, a place she visited when she was a little girl. Charli grew up on the New South Wales coast, and visiting the mountains had a lasting impact on her.
Mount Kosciuszko is Australia's highest peak, standing at 2.2km above sea level. Europeans were the first to scale the mountain, with Polish explorer Paul Edmund Strzelecki naming the peak after its similarity to the tomb of the Polish general, Tadeusz Kosciuszko.

There are six wilderness areas, while its alpine and subalpine areas have plant species not found anywhere else in the world. The park is home to the rare mountain pygmy possum, corroboree frog and more than 200 species of birds.
The Kosciuszko Express Chairlift is 1.8km long and rises 560 vertical metres to an elevation of almost 2km.
