Hassle free camping

Want to get together with nature, but just don't like the idea of roughing it? Well, check this out.

Some people like the thought of getting together with nature, but just don't like the idea of roughing it. Some would love to go but just don't have the right equipment. For those who fit into either of those categories, there is now no excuse to back out of plans to go camping!

Andrew and Leisa Clarke set up their camping business to allow them and their children to have a better, healthy lifestyle.

They have three sites to choose from in the Barrington Tops State Forest, and they have thought of everything to suit campers who prefer to have everything laid on — right down to dental floss!

The Clarkes drive their campers to the forest in an eight-seater four-wheel drive Toyota Landcruiser, with a maximum of five or six if they are in the one group. They have a trailer for food and equipment.

It takes about an hour to set up camp with sleeping tent, food tent, toilet and shower. They set up their own tent as close to you or as far away from you as you want.

The tents have an awning and plenty of headroom, sleeping bags and liners, mattresses and camp pillows. They provide towels, facecloths, soap, shampoo and conditioner and even a foldout kitchen sink where they do the washing up after you have eaten the meal they have cooked! The toilet has a hand basin and the shower has hot water and a screen. There are foldout tables and chairs, gas lanterns and stove, a hand light for each person, sunscreen, insect repellent, personal fans and mints on your pillow.

Dogs are welcome in the State Forest, so the entire family can be together in the outdoors.
