Quay West Resort Magenta Shores resort sits between the Pacific Ocean and Tuggerah Lake on the New South Wales central coast. The 101 hectare expanse is adjacent to Wyrrabalong National Park and the development offers a superb lifestyle.
Magenta Shores was designed as a world-class residential precinct and a five-star Quay West Resort. Those who live there have all the shopping, dining and entertainment they desire, but home is relaxed and peaceful. Those who visit are often tempted to become permanent residents, such is the allure of the development.
Its landscaped grounds, lagoon pool, day spa and 18-hole golf course make it the perfect escape from the city.
The five-star resort has studio guestrooms and self-contained, open-plan one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. All are stylishly appointed and overlook the pool, golf course or gardens. Villas have separate living and dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and balcony. Bedrooms are upstairs and the lower level opens onto a private courtyard. Each dwelling ensures the benefit of maximum privacy, sun control and ventilation.
The Spa at Magenta Shores was designed for pampering. There is a range of therapies and treatments including facials, massages and beauty treats. There are five treatment rooms, Vichy shower, manicure and pedicure room and relaxation room. There are double treatment rooms for him and her.
Heated, ergonomically designed massage tables ensure neck, spine and leg muscles are cradled against any pressure points. Full- and half-day packages are available.
Barretts Restaurant has a modern Australian menu with Mediterranean and French influences. There is an emphasis on seafood and local products, all complemented by an excellent wine list. It is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Shallows Bar is where guests may enjoy a quick snack, pre-dinner drink or nightcap. They serve gourmet teas and coffees and in cooler months, there is a cosy fireplace. Shallows opens at 4pm each day.
Lagoon Bar beside the pool has a selection of drinks and snacks.
The Ross Watson 18-hole championship golf course was recently rated the best Resort Course in New South Wales and 6th best in Australia. It has an ideal sand base and weaves through coastal landscapes including links-style dunes, rainforests and native forests.
With prime beachfront position, the course has a purpose-built club house and Slice Bar where players can enjoy indoor and outdoor food and drinks. The bar opens at 11am each day.
