Fanatics was launched in 1997 with the sole purpose of giving passionate, patriotic and organised support to Australian sporting teams, at home and around the world.
It has 62,000 members on a monthly newsletter list and has taken over 66,000 people to sports events with some partying thrown in.
Fanatics works closely with Tennis Australia, Australian Rugby Union, Cricket Australia, Football Australia, the NRL and ARL, the AOC and other national sporting organisations.
Grandstand bays are booked so everyone is seated together, and affordable travel to the world's biggest events is offered.
Australian supporters are very easily identified. They are decked out in bright clothing green and gold, of course usually with painted faces and singing their war cry. Then there's the Australian flag flown in all its glory. Fanatic leaders point out etiquette that must be followed, such as the flag must never touch the ground.
That's about as serious as things get. It's all about sharing a drink or two, having a laugh or two, egging the Australian team on and showing an enormous amount of patriotism.
