Bali's sister islands: Lombok and Gili Trawangan

17:30 AEST Sat May 26 2012
Many of the world's island holiday spots were discovered by surfers, and Bali and its surrounding islands became the place to take the surfboard in the 70s.

Indonesia has around 25 percent of the world's reefs, with 3500 species of marine life patrolling the coastline.

Jason checked out Lombok and the Gili Islands just to the east of Bali. The cheapest way to get there is by public ferry which takes around five hours, but you can catch a fast boat or fly.
